Try as much as possible not to walk on the carpets until they have dried properly.  Walking on the carpets may flatten fibres and increase the drying time.  If you absolutely have to walk on it then make sure to wear clean, white cotton socks or a pair of house slippers that don’t go outside and take the shortest route possible. 

Leave the room well ventilated both during and after the clean.  Due to the cleaning draws the dirt out of your fabrics and this can sometimes leave an unpleasant smell in the air but please do not worry! This smell will go once the fabrics are completely dry.  It is important to leave windows open for as long as you can as well as allowing heat to the fabrics.  Warm air helps the carpet fibres dry faster! On warmer days you may wish to put your sofa cushions on a clean sheet in the sun to dry them quicker.  In colder weather we recommended having your heating on to help them dry. 

With car upholstery; again leave your car windows open where possible and when in your car have the heating on to help the seats dry.  If you need to use your car whilst the carpets and seats are still wet then line your seats with a bin bag so that you do not get a wet bottom!

Any furniture situated on top of your carpet that’s been moved prior to cleaning should stay where it is while the carpet dries.  For larger items such as sofas, our technician will put something underneath your furniture so that it does not directly touch the carpet.  Again, do not touch or remove this until the carpet is completely dry. When dry, vacuum the floor before moving furniture back to minimise the amount of dirt that gets caught on your newly cleaned carpet’s fibres

Depending on the type of carpet we’re cleaning, you may notice a faint scent. This is especially prevalent when cleaning wool carpets.

Normally our hours are 08:00 – 18:00 Mondays to Fridays. 08:00-17:00 on Saturdays. Sundays we are open for Emergency Gas Repairs or Call-outs or Emergency cleans. However we can be flexible with our times if required.
